The life the good Lord gave me on earth now is past.

I lived it for my Savior right up until the last.

He gave me you to walk with during my years on earth,

More valuable than rubies, you’re a woman of great worth.

I know your heart is hurting, the grief is hard to bear,

I know you really love me, I know you really care.

So mourn for just a while, cry a few tears too,

Then live your life for Jesus, He’s got plans for you.

The life that you are living, live it for the Lord, and

Together soon in heaven, we’ll receive God’s just reward.

Our lives are just beginning, there will never be an end,

Eternal life in heaven, together we will spend.
