When overwhelmed and lost in life…

God seems nowhere to be found,

Stop, take a breath, close your eyes…

He’s there!  Jesus Christ is crowned!

The Lord will fight for you,

You need only to be still.

“Be still and know that I am God…”

When a loved one betrays your love,

And you’re hurt and all alone,

When your heart is sad and broken…

He’s there! God is on His throne!

The Lord will fight for you,

When you ache with desperation…

You’ve nowhere left to turn,

When all of life seems hopeless,

The Holy Spirit for you yearns!

The Lord will fight for you,

You need only to be still.

When life becomes unbearable,

And you have no control,

Turn to God, trust in Him…

Give Him body, mind, and soul!

The Lord will fight for you,
