I never got to say hello, or even say good-bye.

You never got to hear me laugh, or hold me when I cry.

I went straight from Mommy’s womb, to heaven up above,

Where Jesus holds me in his arms, and surrounds me with his love.

I want to see you Mommy, I long to see your face,

I’m waiting here in heaven, to feel your warm embrace.

I want to know you Daddy, I love you oh so much,

I’m waiting here in heaven, one day I’ll feel your touch.

I know you’re sad, I know you hurt, I know you’ve shed some tears,

Just know that I’m in heaven, waiting…

for the day that you’ll be here.
