I’d Rather be Piping

I don’t want to be here!

I”d rather be piping.

I enjoy bagpiping!  It’s a great hobby.

A very sincere (but very drunk) man once told me,

“Bagpipe music is music from one’s soul to God’s ears.”

Just imagine…

God…listening to the scurrile of out-of-tune drones.

Poor God!

God…listening to the sharp shrill sounds of a chanter.

Poor God!

God…listening to the sound of wrong notes played by half-skilled fingers.

Poor God!

But God…hearing the music of my soul with His heart.
