Broken in this broken world,

Full of

Hurt,

Anger,

Hate,

Despair.

Looking around for someone

To really show they care.

Smiling on the outside,

Full of bitterness within,

Only you know from where

This bitterness begins.

Having hit the bottom,

Alone and so confused,

Hopeless, depressed, frightened,

In your life you’ve been abused.

Looking up to heaven,

The only place left to go,

Crying out for Jesus’ help,

Oh yes, He loves you so.

He knows your situation,

And all you’re going through,

And because He loves and cares,

He gave his life for you.

Trust your heart to Jesus,

Give your life to Him.

Yes, He will take your hand,

And He, your heart will mend.

Broken in this broken world,

Now full of

Hope,

Joy,

Peace,

Love.

 Because, you’ve a mended heart,

By God’s Spirit from above.
