My life is filled with blessings,

The blessings are so-o-o great!

The life the Good Lord gave me,

Was not left up to fate.

He placed me in a Christian home,

With a loving Mom and Dad.

Growing up in our family…

What a wonderful life I had.

Two brothers and a sister,

And many pets galore,

Good home, great food, many friends,

I couldn’t ask for more.

Some times were filled with turmoil,

Most times were filled with good.

We learned to deal with problems,

In the best way that we could.

We were taught the difference,

Between what’s wrong and right.

We learned of God’s Son, Jesus,

This world’s saving Light.

We grew up smart, we grew up strong,

We grew up differently.

But now we have our own lives,

My parents, siblings and me.

So now I have my own home,

With my husband, kids and me.

We have one daughter, two sons,

Growing up in our family.

A loving Mom, a loving Dad,

And many pets galore,

Good home, great food, many friends,

We couldn’t ask for more.

Most times were filled with good.

We learn to deal with problems,

In the best way that we should.

The kids were taught the difference,

Between what’s wrong and right.

They learned of God’s Son, Jesus,

This world’s saving Light.

I pray their lives are happy,

That their blessings are so-o-o great.

That the life the good Lord gave them,

Is not left up to fate.
