Lord, Pour Out Your Spirit on My Children

Dear Lord Jesus,

I praise your name.  Thank you for being in

my life and for all that you have given me.

I especially thank you

for my children.

I love them so much.

They are the joy of my life!

Jesus, please be with them .

Lord, go before them and lead them,

Stand behind them and protect them.

Walk beside them, befriend and teach them,

Surround them with your peace, comfort and joy.

Touch their hearts with your love and compassion,

Bestow in their minds the wisdom to live wisely.

Give their souls inner strength to be themselves,

Grant them hearing so their faith will grow.

Grow them wings so their spirits can soar,

Open their eyes so they can see You…

Rejoice with them in the good times,

Carry them through the hard times.

Fill them with your Spirit,

Be their strength.

And most of all,

Love them through all time and forever.
