Lord, Pour Out Your Spirit on My Friend

Dear Lord Jesus,

I praise your name.  Thank you for being in

my life and for all that you have given me.

I especially thank you

for my dear friend__.

I love her so much.

She is a joy in my life.

I pray that you be with her.

Go before her and lead her,

Stand behind her and protect her.

Walk beside her and befriend and teach her.

Surround her with your peace, comfort, and joy.

Touch her heart with love and compassion,

Bestow in her mind wisdom to live wisely,

Give her soul inner strength to be herself.

Grant her hearing so her faith will grow,

Grow her wings so her spirit can soar.

Open her eyes so she can see you.

Rejoice with her in the good times,

Carry her through the hard times.

Fill her with your Spirit.

Be her strength,

And most of all,

Love her through all time and forever.
